Building Construction & Materials
This module explores the construction and materials used in building construction. It develops our understanding of the building elements such as the substructure, superstructure, structural materials and architectural materials. Additionally, this module also teaches us about the manufacturing process of a building. This is a coursework-based and examination based module in which students need to undergo a series of assignments and final exams in order to complete this module.

This is an individual project in which we were to choose a building designed by a famous architect and to explore and understand the architectural and structural materials used to construct the selected building.

This group project required us to choose a double terrace house with the allocated structural material, either concrete or timber. We are to understand and produce a series of drawings on the construction process and the details of the building elements, such as the windows, door, staircase, and roof.
