Architectural design 1
Architectural Design 1 is an introduction to architectural design. In this module, students are to conduct a series of experiments in model making to present and explain the design through constructions, tectonics, materialities, sensory, ergonomic and anthropometric studies. Architectural design is a studio-based learning module that presents students to basic design thinking, approaches, and spatial. At the end of this module, students will be able to identify and understand the design process, basic theories, and relate self to spaces and spatial experiences.

Conclusion
Due to this pandemic, this module was conducted both face-to-face and online. The changes in these learning modes was really a big challenge for me as I need to adapt to the different learning modes quickly and the timeline of the project is tight. But throughout this semester, the changes in learning didn't quite affect my progress as I have gained a lot in the architectural design module. I have understood the terminologies in architecture and the different types of materialities. Besides, I have improved my model-making techniques and drawing skills even though there are more to improve.
Taylor's Graduate Capabilities
Able to express my thoughts and ideas to others clearly and listen to others carefully and respond to them when there's needed
Learn from the mistakes I have made in my drawings and when making models. Take the problems seriously and never make the same mistakes again
Use technologies effectively while learning and explore different techniques in preparing slides.
Able to apply my learnings and knowledge into the drawings and models and are able to understand the design process
Learn independently in the terms of doing research and understand the terminologies.
