This project develops my technical drawing skills as well as my understanding of the building construction process. Throughout this project, I have learnt about the detailing of building elements, which are the door, window, staircase, and roof. In this project, my tasks were to focus on the detailing of the roof and the wall section. I have clearly shown my improvement and my understanding of the roof and wall section slowly through the process. Also, I did help out my groupmates on researching the construction process, gaining a lot from it. As this is a group project, we are joining with other coursemates from semester 1, which is an opportunity to meet friends. However, some of them are from overseas, therefore, explaining the tasks to them become my challenge as I need to clearly explain to them the project brief without any mistakes yet it improve my leadership and communication skills. Overall, this project is as interesting and informative as the previous project. I have gained a lot in this module and will continue to apply this knowledge in my upcoming projects.
