Green Strategies for Building Design
Passive sustainable strategies are strongly emphasised in this module. Different components of design elements make up green architecture, by understanding the theories and principles of sustainable design strategies, and looking into how passive design and renewable active green approaches can integrate with it to create a significant and distinctive spatial quality and experience.
To select 2 case studies from a tropical region and other climate regions and conduct comparative studies based on site planning, daylighting, façade design, natural ventilation and strategic landscaping.
