​Throughout this audit report, I have gained knowledge on the importance of energy efficiency. It is a great opportunity to take this time to understand the energy usage of my own house and hence propose potential energy efficiency strategies in order to reduce monthly electricity and water bills of the house and reduce the release of harmful pollutants and CO2 to the environment. As a consequence, a lesser percentage of the Earth's average temperature will increase. Also, it is a chance to examine the user's daily bad behaviour of using energy, and so it can be corrected. Furthermore, analysing the climatic data of the site is useful in designing the orientation of the building to get the best shades, natural daylighting and ventilation for the house. Along with the installation of renewable energy to enhance the effective use of energy and therefore reduce the energy demand in buildings.
