Universal design refers to spaces that meet the needs of all, regardless, young or old, able or disabled. By completing this project, I understand how important universal design is in architecture as it allows all kinds of users to experience the spaces with their own feelings and interpretations throughout the journey. Each type of disabled has different requirements for designing spaces, therefore, it is crucial to understand their needs. Besides, this project is interesting as it helps me to broaden my views and improve my imagination and creativity in the way of using sustainable material, bamboo, to create diverse musical instruments and the various sounds created by bamboo instruments are used to guide the blinds throughout the journey.
